Mom was diagnosed with Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma on 25 August 2010 and faced her illness with great strength and courage, knowing that she had the full support of her loving husband, family and very many friends. Mom was a very kind and gentle lady who was loved by everyone who knew her. For over twenty years she was a fundraiser at our local hospital and helped raise over £20,000 for the Haematology Care Group and in an ironic twist of fate she was looked after and cared for by the very people who had become her dear friends over the years. Sadly Mom lost her battle with lymphoma on 7 November 2011 but it was one of her last wishes to raise funds for Lymphoma Association, which is why we have created this page.
